Dawn Halfaker Speaks at the 4th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference

The 4th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo is the largest veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small business conference in the Nation. Captain (Retired) Dawn Halfaker was featured as a panelist on the Strategies that Work: Successful Government Contracting plenary session. The session covered successful service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses who presented their business profile, provided a brief overview of their business plan, and shared tips and tricks they use to successfully conduct business with the Federal Government.

Dawn provided background on how Halfaker and Associates, LLC was formed and insight in to the experiences she has faced in starting her own small business. The session was moderated by Mr. James Lloyd, Assistant to the Director, Office of Small Business Programs, U.S. Department of the Army. The other featured panelists were Ms. Lani Hay, Founder & CEO of Landmark Technology, Mr. Anthony R. Jimenez, President & CEO, MicroTech, LLC, and Mr. Charles W. Scott, President and Chairman of the Board, J.M. Waller Associates, Inc.
