Dawn Halfaker Speaks at the 3rd Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference

The 3rd Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo is the largest veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small business conference in the Nation. Captain (Retired) Dawn Halfaker was featured as a panelist on the Small Business Case Study plenary session. The Nation is currently faced with a growing number of returning wounded warriors who are seeking out opportunities for success after their service.

Dawn provided background on how Halfaker and Associates, LLC was formed and insight in to the experiences she has faced in starting her own small business. The session was moderated by LTC James A. Blanco, Assistant to the Director, Office of Small Business Programs, U.S. Department of the Army. The other featured panelists were Mr. Richard J. Otero, Sr., President, EZcertify.com and SGT (Ret.) Tracy M. Reep, President, Disabled Veterans Office Suppliers.
