Halfaker and Associates proudly donated in support of the American Veterans Center and the 2009 National Memorial Day Parade. The National Memorial Day Parade is the nation’s largest Memorial Day event and convenes in Washington, DC at 2:00PM on May 25th, 2009 to honor our heroes who have worn the uniform in service to the United States from the American Revolution to Operation Iraqi Freedom. The parade will proceed along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Streets, NW. Over the past four years, the National Memorial Day parade has hosted well over one million patriotic spectators who have gathered to honor those who have sacrificed so much in service to our country.
The mission of the American Veterans Center is to preserve and promote the legacy of America’s servicemen and women from World War II through Operation Iraqi Freedom. The center’s portfolio of programs provides an outlet for veterans to share their experiences in combat as well as their successes after returning home.
Halfaker and Associates’ is a proud supporter of veterans and we hope to see you at the Memorial Day parade to help honor the nearly 1.5 million men and women who have given their last full measure of devotion in defense of the United States of America.
