Halfaker and Associates’ Director of Human Resources Nominated for the 2010 Human Resources Leadership Award

Washington, DC—Cyrus Mostaghim, Halfaker and Associates’ Director of Human Resources was recently nominated for the honorable 2010 Human Resources Leadership Award (HRLA) of Greater Washington. The awards honor HR executives for outstanding contributions to their organizations and to the field of HR Management. This year’s awards will specifically focus on recognizing HR leaders who directly enhanced employee engagement to drive better performance within their organizations.

Cyrus Mostaghim, Director of Human Resources

Since he joined Halfaker and Associates in October 2007 as the Director of Human Resources, Cyrus has provided leadership, vision, and expertise in the areas of human resources, recruiting, strategic planning and organization. Prior to joining Halfaker and Associates, Cyrus served as the Programs Coordinator for the Recruiting Department of Perot Systems Government Services. Cyrus brings a wealth of knowledge in HR Management and Benefits in the government sector, organizational planning, and the development of internal business structure to the Halfaker Team.

The 2010 HRLA winners and finalists will be announced at the upcoming 9th Annual Awards Gala for the following six awards: Leadership, Strategic Alignment, Innovation, Mentoring, The Sister Eymard Gallagher Award for Corporate Social Responsibility, and The Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior.
This year’s HRLA Awards Gala will take place on June 15, 2010 at the Arlington Crystal Gateway Marriott. The HRLA award recipients will also be recognized in a special pullout section of the Washington Business Journal.
