The article details the partnership of neighboring communities with valuable resources, and the Regional Medical Reserve Corps that was born from this critical partnership. The concepts behind the regional approach to emergency management have become the cornerstone of a county-wide program to establish planning groups regionally throughout the county.
Robert L. Cohen is a professional emergency management director with over 38 years in the emergency management field. He has been an employee of Halfaker and Associates, LLC for over one year and has contributed immensely to the development of stringent emergency management practices, not just regionally but nationally as well.
