Halfaker Employees Complete the Emergency Management Certificate Program
At Halfaker and Associates, we believe in the development and advancement of our employees. We encourage our employees to continually expand their knowledge and education in all aspects.
We’d like to recognize Chris Haughie, a Naval Information Operations Command Technician, and Soren Trout, a Battle Watch Specialist, who are both employees at the Commander Navy Installations Command Regional Operations Center. Both Chris and Soren recently completed the Emergency Management Certificate Program at Frederick Community College. The Emergency Management Certificate Program is designed to provide students with a broad education in emergency management and focuses on preparedness and the skills needed to organize and lead within the emergency management operations.
Frederick Community College has been the designated credit granting authority for FEMA study courses since 1998. For more information on Frederick Community College’s FEMA Programs please click here.
Both individuals have also completed FEMA independent study courses such as Radiological Emergency Management and Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning. For more information on FEMA’s Independent Study Program please click here
