Halfaker and Associates, LLC is currently seeking a Telecom Circuit Provisioning Analyst to support a federal client on a large process improvement project. The Analyst will analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.

Job Description:

The Analyst will be tasked with analyzing user needs to determine functional and cross functional requirements as well as performing functional allocation to identify required tasks and their relationships. Recommendations to management on feasibility of future projects and tactical duties to include:

• Enters  error free service orders into customer order entry and order management application for transmittal to vendors
• Administers and manages mailbox queue to assign work to Designated Agency Representatives (DAR)
• Manages telecom circuit provisioning SharePoint sites
• Interacts with Local Exchange Carriers (LECs) to ensure accurate circuit provisioning processes
• Maintains process guidelines for managing telecom circuit provisioning documentation and service order publications, which includes updating notification and Point of Contact lists from the field offices, vendors and the customer order entry and order management application
• Supports authorization requests that allow access to vendor portals and the customer order entry and order management application for the design and use of maintenance reports
• Reports service order trouble tickets and service inventory reports
• Performs other related technical duties, as required

Requirements:

• A bachelor degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma plus 8 years of relevant experience
• Five years of IT experience and 3 years of experience determining functional and cross-functional requirements
• Experience working with or for LECs
• Knowledge of SharePoint applications
• Knowledge of circuit provisioning
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong communications skills
• Telecom billing experience preferred
